Blue Rock Suffolks has been a registered stud since 2008, but this wasn’t the start of our experience with the Suffolk breed. In fact Deva has been involved with this breed since 1982, and as a wedding present upon relocating to Australia, her husband bought her a small flock in 1990.

We strive to produce fast growing, large framed, meaty Suffolk sheep. Our Suffolk ewes have good mothering natures and more often than not, multiple births. We breed our sires to have long, deep bodies with good width and muscle development. The attractive black points and bell shaped ears add an aesthetic quality to this fantastic meat breed.

The quality and taste of the Suffolk meat is hard to beat. It is a flavoursome fine textured meat with minimal wastage. Our flock is tested Ovine Brucellosis free and is a Johne’s disease free accredited MN1V flock.
