Highland Cattle

The Blue Rock Fold was established in 2007 with the purchase of full blood registered highland cows. Mark has been the driving force behind the development of the Blue Rock Highland fold, after first being inspired by the Hairy Beasts whilst travelling in the Scottish Highlands 20 years prior. The fold consists of up to 20 breeding females and 1 Bull. Within our breeding program we aim for structurally sound animals with plenty of traditional Highland character. Our Highlands are grass fed and well cared for to produce slow grown meat that is low in fat and high in flavour.

We sell animals to landholders around the country looking for that unique animal to have on their property. We also sell limited quantities of this rare beef to locals when available.
